Home » Air Cargo Security Summit Air Cargo Security Summit
The Air Cargo Security Summit is a ground-breaking event that will outline many of the issues and challenges surrounding air cargo security, including the importance and ramifications of a congressional law requiring the screening of all air cargo placed on passenger jets by August 1, 2010.
Non-compliance could result in significant delays in your cargo movement!
GTCA and the Cargo Security Alliance have put together a series of panels about the impact of the new security requirements. These include presentations by senior TSA officials about the TSA's Certified Cargo Screening Program, as well as presentations by leading private-sector cargo security experts in a range of industries.
Industries highlighted include:
- Agriculture;
- Biotech, Pharmaceuticals and Cold-Chain Food Products;
- High-Technology Products; and
- Mortuary and special-purpose shipping.
The focus of the summit is to highlight ways that businesses like yours who rely on air freight can integrate tracking and security procedures into your current supply chain infrastructure that not only comply with the new screening requirements, but also significantly improve your bottom line through more effective management of your business' supply chain.
