The premise of the Sentinel seal is to provide seal numbers and accountability to any enclosure that needs a temporary seal. To have a seal and lock combination technology that is both compliant with the various laws and best practices associated with on and off airport vehicles is essential to any CCSF operation. The cost savings on replacing plastic door seals for trucks or vans is quickly realized through the use of the Sentinel Seal. The fact that the Sentinel Seal also retains seal date which includes time date stamps and openings and closing numbers through any PDA makes it the only technology that can comply with the seal reporting standards identified by the TSA for this purpose.
Derichebourg are a very large multi-national company operating at most European airports who own Service Air. Plane Catering is an American franchise operating at London City for Derichebourg
Sentinel seals are now widely in use at London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton & London Stanstead airports primarily used on catering service vehicles operating between land and airside.
In addition Sentinel is also in use at Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow Airports.
