SKU: MKIIIA

The MKIIIA is a two part, steel, truck or container swing door locking device. It locks the opposing keeper rods of a standard swing door trailer or sea container from opening.  The device is a patented mechanism that locks the rods with two opposing steel “J” hooks which are hand assembled across the swing door seams, from rod to rod, in such a manner as to prevent the doors from opening without removing the device, which can only be done with a diamond drill or Dremel wheel

To use the mechanism, simply align both opposing “J” hooks across the door to the keeper rods, snug up one to the other and align one of the two visible holes, inserting the numbered locking bushing snugly into the aligned hole.  This locks the device for a one time use.  The MKIIIA can also be fitted with an optional C-01 12” cable which connects the locking bar to the right hand door hasp. The C-01 is also uniquely numbered for purposes of establishing and maintaining chain of custody; its function is to prevent the locking bar from being moved up to extract it if the keeper rods below are cut.

Optionally, the MKIIIA can be secured with a reusable NSLD keyed lock, which is also suitable for the MKIIB and Navablock.

The MKIIIA has only 2 parts and assembles in about 10 seconds.  It comes packaged 10 units in a carton.
