CCSF Capacity Planner
The CCSF Capacity Planner is a tool available to registered users to begin to do some basic facility modeling, in order to facilitate the process of deciding whether to participate in the CCSP. No claim is made about the accuracy of the model, but every effort HAS been made to make it as accurate as possible, based on our extensive supply chain experience. If you are interested in having a more in-depth analysis of your particular facility and operation, CSA would be glad to provide that service.
When opening the planner, you will notice that it is divided vertically between left and right sides. The left side is where you can modify the characteristics of the modeled facility and operation, and the right side will interactively display performance information based on your input.
There are five(5) tabs under which you can modify input data:
Under each of these tabs are many operating characteristics that you can adjust. As you make your adjustments, you will notice the graphs on the right change.
To change a particular item, click on it, and an adjustment mechanism will become visible.
As you approach or exceed the feasibility of your input characteristics, you will notice one or more items on the graph to the right approaching the ‘infeasible’ line, indicating that you must add more resources if your facility is to operate properly.
There are also on-screen hints available as you are using the tool. Please feel free to send feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org
